What is 1Wall?
One wall
Endless ways to play
1Wall is a fast, fun, inclusive sport played anywhere! All you need is a wall and a ball.
SERVE, RALLY, SCORE
1Wall is easy to pick up. Most people can start playing within 30 seconds. Hit the ball against the wall with your hand, let it bounce once on the ground, and keep the rally going.
What makes 1Wall special is how much depth sits beneath that simplicity. As players improve, they discover more nuanced rules, tactics, spins, and shots that reward timing, movement, and creativity. It’s quick to learn, but endlessly challenging to master.
1Wall is flexible by design. You can play singles, doubles, or mixed doubles. You can play casually with friends, run structured sessions, or invent your own formats and games to suit the space, the players, and the moment.
That flexibility is what allows 1Wall to work everywhere - from school playgrounds to city streets, from youth clubs to international competition.

Stand behind the service line. Bounce and then hit the ball. It needs to hit the front wall and bounce behind the service line in the back half of the court. Now the point is active. If you serve it short or long - 2nd serve. If you serve it wide - double fault!
-
Keep rallying. You can use either hand to hit the ball back against the wall. It just needs to hit the wall and land in. If it bounces twice or if you knock it out or down, you lose the point.
-
Most people play rally points now. That means every point counts. Games go up to 11, 15 or 21. The person who won the point serves.
-
You can play singles or doubles for regulation play. In doubles both of you serve before the serve switches to the other team.
-
The more you play the more exciting it gets. You can go for your killshots so the ball rolls out - incredible shot! And you can block your opponent if you stay as still as a statue after you hit the ball. Shoot it between your legs while you’re a statue… great shot!
