Our Mission

Every wall
tells a story

As a registered charity, 1Wall UK’s mission is to help people, especially children, get active, confident, and connected. Through school programs, youth clubs, and city pop-ups, we use play to positively impact inactivity, isolation, and inequality.

We started with one wall in stratford, we now have thousands of courts across the country

  • BANKSIDE

    Our first full size community court in the shadow of the Shard. A beautiful wall designed by local people, proof of concept and still used by schools weekly to this day.

  • Coaches Activated

    Through in person and virtual courses we’ve activated thousands of people in the sport, and trained dozens as paid coaches with new skills.

  • Any wall, any ball, any time

    Courts don’t have to be full size. We love adapting to your space - especially in primary schools where the joy of hitting a ball around and decorating the courts with chalk are evident through laughter and non-stop play.

  • community and friendship

    The best activities build friendships for life and we love encouraging our players to be part of the community, meet new people and to kick back and have a great time.

  • Capital projects

    We love turning grey spaces into colourful, active, community-designed areas. This project in Canada Water was incredible and we’d love to do more!

  • Achieve and inspire

    Our school programmes have thousands of young people getting active each year. Some, like Kitty here, go on to inspire their generation and compete for their country.
